Akira’s passion is evoking transformation in individuals, teams, and organizations through training and coaching, especially in international and multicultural contexts. He became an independent professional coach and trainer after gaining managerial experience as a local CEO in Bangladesh for an impact-driven European company, which sparked his interest in leadership and people development.
Outside of work, Akira enjoys trekking in the Himalayan mountains, playing online chess, learning improv, and visiting art museums and theater performances.
Based in Tokyo, Akira holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MPP (Master of Public Policy) from the University of Tokyo.
