Following many months of collaboration with the people development team at Huhtamaki, global specialists in packaging for food and drink, we’ve been delighted with the early results and feedback from the newly launched LEAP program.
Designed to help leaders from across the world to enhance their strategic leadership skills, LEAP was created as a multi-phase leadership development program with of a number of training and coaching elements, delivered over a 6 month period.
Consisting of 10 days of high intensity face to face training, as well as exploring key leadership behaviours, participants worked on a number of real strategic challenges, at both local and global levels, in order to ensure that they were applying their learning straight away whilst at the same time providing a real benefit back to the business.
Another key element of the learning journey was the inclusion of a number of executive coaching sessions between each participant and the program trainers as the program progressed. The aim of these coaching sessions was to make sure that participants had all the tools that they needed in order to implement their learning and achieve their action plans.
Through its mix of leadership tools, real business challenges and support from senior managers the LEAP program enables skilled leaders to further develop their strategic capability so that they can leverage their contribution to both their local business unit and the performance of the company globally.
